 Empowering Leaders Through Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Training Program, hosted by Yunus Center AIT from 16–20 December 2024 at the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand, has successfully concluded, leaving a lasting impact on 19 distinguished officers from Bhutan.

Tailored for organizations like Druk Holding & Investments Ltd. and Bhutan Telecom, this training strengthened organizational resilience and enhanced strategic decision-making through a comprehensive approach to risk management.

Over five dynamic days, participants:

Participants gained skills to assess and mitigate risks across financial, operational, and strategic domains.
Hands-on workshops, study visits, and expert-led sessions enriched their learning experience.

 

Highlight: A study visit to the Thailand Board of Investment provided valuable insights into investment strategies, fostering Thailand-Bhutan partnerships, and addressing sector-specific risks.

The closing ceremony began with inspiring remarks from Mr. Russell Rein, Vice President for Administration, AIT, who stated, "Bhutan is a beautiful country with passionate people. I am confident its future is in great hands. Return with renewed enthusiasm to build on what you’ve learned and continue driving positive change."

In his concluding remarks, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Dash, Senior Program Specialist, Yunus Center AIT, shared, "The active participation and fruitful discussions made this program truly engaging and impactful. I am proud to see how well it turned out."

 

Through this training, participants are now equipped with actionable strategies to strengthen risk management, drive innovation, and enhance decision-making within their organizations.The Yunus Center AIT is honored to have facilitated this impactful program and looks forward to empowering more leaders in the future.
