YCA Launches SAR100-2.0: Empowering Women Engineers to Lead South Asia’s Energy Future
December 16, 2024 — The Yunus Center at the Asian Institute of Technology (YCA) has officially launched SAR100-2.0, a professional development program designed to empower 100 mid-career women engineers from South Asia to lead in the rapidly evolving energy sector. Building on the impact of the initial SAR100 program that addresses critical challenges in energy transition while fostering gender-inclusive leadership in the region.
The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Training Program, hosted by Yunus Center AIT from 16–20 December 2024
Through this training, participants are now equipped with actionable strategies to strengthen risk management, drive innovation, and enhance decision-making within their organizations.The Yunus Center AIT is honored to have facilitated this impactful program and looks forward to empowering more leaders in the future.
YCA celebrated the remarkable journey of nine dynamic leaders from the Philippines
Over four impactful days (16-19 December 2024), they immersed themselves in Thailand’s pioneering practices in agricultural processing, cold chain management, and sustainable farming.
In his closing remarks, Prof. Faiz H. Shah announced the extension of this program,

tailored for government officials from Bangladesh Bank.
This intensive week-long program offered participants a platform for learning and innovation from 25 to 29 November 2024.
