Albukhary International University (AIU) specializes in Social Business, focusing on sustainable solutions to address social and environmental challenges. In line with our mission to foster a culture of innovation and sustainability, AIU is organizing an international conference on reimagining Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the concept of 3Zeros (Zero Poverty, Zero Unemployment, Zero Net Carbon Emission). This conference aims to provide valuable insights and inspiration on bridging social business and SDGs through 3Zeros for our students, faculty, staff, and collaborators across academia, industry, government, NGOs, and communities.

We are honored to have Professor Charles Hopkins, a UNESCO Chair in Reorienting Education towards Sustainability at York University, Canada, as our keynote speaker. A distinguished scholar and advocate for sustainability education and SDGs, Professor Hopkins has extensive experience designing and implementing innovative educational programs worldwide. He is widely recognized for his expertise in reorienting education towards sustainable development and has significantly contributed to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals agenda.

The conference aims to bridge the vital nexus between social business and SDGs through 3Zeros. With a focus on collaboration, the event seeks to build partnerships across academia, industry, government, NGOs, and communities. Forming strategic partnerships with organizations across sectors enables social businesses to leverage complementary strengths and resources, driving collective action towards achieving SDGs. The Yunus Center AIT  also served as a partner for this conference.
